Join us Saturday, March 28th, from 1:00-2:00 pm, in front of Westerville City Hall as we join millions of others across the country to send a powerful message: “No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.”
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
WPA rallies have always been peaceful and enthusiastic, resulting in positive experiences for participants, people driving by and local merchants. Please help keep our event safe by observing the following:
Sidewalks: Stay on sidewalks. Be considerate & leave a path for others to pass through. If overcrowded, a marshal may ask you to spread out.
Street: Please stay out of the streets, even for taking pictures & videos. Don’t keep crossing State Street, especially in front of city hall.
Counter-Protestors: Should any show up, DO NOT engage. Stay safe. Walk away. Notify a marshal if needed.
Marshals: They will be wearing fluorescent yellow vests & will be stationed throughout to help keep people safe, keep paths clear, etc.
Business access: Be sure to keep clear of local business entrances.
Please consider supporting our many local businesses on State Street & along side streets— do a little shopping, grab coffee, or have a meal before or after the rally.
