### NCCI’s newest committee, P.U.E.N.T.E. (Partners Uniting for Equity, Neighborhood, Trust & Empowerment), focuses on supporting immigrant communities.
Puente translates as “bridge” in Spanish and represents our desire to:
• Connect people & communities
• Link cultures and resources
• Provide support for people who are afraid to leave their homes.
Our next meeting is on April 7th, at 4:00 pm, and we’re going out to dinner at Los Pepes in BG Village after our meeting and before the general meeting. Everyone is welcome to join our committee, or just come check out the meeting and come to dinner with us.
