Come join a non-partisan conversation with fellow community members. Come listen, come learn, and come be part of shaping what happens next on the Plateau.
Solutions are stronger when the whole community and our decision makers understand what everyone else is facing.
You will hear directly from your neighbors — local businesses, nonprofits, seniors, working families, young adults, educators, health care workers, tradespeople, and farmers — sharing their stories and the solutions they would like to see put in place.
Candidates for local and district office are invited to listen and learn alongside the rest of us.
When: Sunday, September 27, 2026, 3–5 pm
Where: Community Building, Highlands, North Carolina
