The next No Kings Day will be different. Join the No Kings kickoff call this Thursday, 9/10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT to learn about the national day of voter participation being planned for this October.
A nonpartisan civic night bringing candidates, voters and community members together in a relaxed social setting — with music, voter resources, real conversations and an open mic for candidates.

Something new is coming to Winston-Salem.
On Monday, September 21, Camel City United Indivisible is launching PULL UP & POLITIC, a nonpartisan community experience designed to bring civic conversation into the places where people already gather, socialize and connect.
The idea is simple: not everyone is going to attend a political meeting, candidate forum or rally — so let’s create another way for people and candidates to meet each other.
Candidates from all political parties, as well as unaffiliated candidates, are welcome.
Candidates who register by 6:00 PM will receive 2–5 uninterrupted minutes on the mic, beginning at 7:00 PM, to introduce themselves, explain why they’re running and speak directly with community members they may not ordinarily reach.
This is not a debate and not a traditional candidate forum. It’s an opportunity to hear from candidates and have real conversations in a relaxed, social environment.
The evening will also include voter registration, registration checks, voter education and resources, community organizations, music and conversations about issues affecting Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.
Whether you follow local government every day or are just beginning to pay attention, you are welcome.
No podium required. No political expertise required. Just pull up, meet your neighbors and join the conversation.
