10AM TO 1PM TIME CHANGE DUE TO HEAT.

    NEW LOCATION for June!
Summer and Center Street en plein air

    Hello Indivisibles! Fascist Fighters! Friends!

It’s that time…. Let’s create some RIOT ART!

If you are angry with the rise of an authoritarian regime; if you need a healthy, safe, and creative way to express your frustrations; if you are looking for an outlet to commune with other creatives and like-minded resisters, please JOIN US!

NOTE! For the summer months, we are going en plein air and will align with the regular Salem Saturday Protest on Summer and Center Street downtown on the North end of the Capitol Mall. Please bring your own portable resistance projects, craftivism, or other creative projects. We would like to strongly encourage our Knot Today Fascism fiber-artist friends to join us, too!

    Additionally, you may need:
    Chair or blanket
    Working surface
    Sunscreen, hat, umbrella
    Water, snacks

    RIOT Art will provide:
    A few 6’ tables
    A canopy
    Basic materials for:
    Kindness clothespins
Mini protest signs you can stealth into public spaces in our community and
Regular-sized protest posters in preparation for SRI’s July 4th BYO Protest and Picnic scheduled for…you guessed it, July 4th! …a family-friendly event from 12-4 at this same location!

*Monetary or material donations are always appreciated so we can keep creatively resisting! We can always use heavy-duty poster boards, bold permanent markers, glue sticks, postcard stamps, etc. If you are wondering what to donate, please reach out to find out which materials are most needed at the time!

ALL are welcome. Absolutely NO artistic experience necessary! Simply a socializer? Join us too and bring a friend!

A general headcount is always appreciated! Please RSVP here: riotart@salemregionindivisible.org

Thank you, and see you soon!

    In creativity, community, and solidarity!
