_Join NWSOFA–Indivisible for our 13th Annual Picnic on Saturday, August 22, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
#### Location: 4152 N. Terramere Ave, Arlington Heights, IL. On the north shores of LAKE TERRAMERE_
_This is a full day of community, conversation, and grassroots energy in a fun and welcoming outdoor setting. Lunch will be served from 2:00–3:00 PM, followed by an open mic session featuring candidates and elected officials. _
Throughout the day, people can gather by the lake, in the gazebo, on the lawn, and on the upper and lower decks for conversation, organizing, and connecting with fellow activists.

About 1-200 people attend over the course of the day, although smaller groups naturally gather in different spaces at different times.
Candidates often stop by between canvassing shifts to speak briefly and connect with attendees before heading back out.
Co-sponsoring groups already include local Democratic township organizations and Indivisible groups, with additional partners expected to join.

This is always a really fun and energizing day, rain or shine. Some people stop in for a short visit, while others stay into the evening for extended conversations, side meetings, and social time. Save the date and plan to be part of this annual summer tradition.
