SCAMPS Strategic, Creative Activists Meet, Plan, Share

SCAMPS is a 40-minute Zoom call for creative activists to share and support each other’s work. We host an open space for clowns, creatives, strategists, and all who are active in or curious about strategic creative nonviolent action that expresses our nation’s democratic principles of freedom of speech and assembly.

Hosted by Rebel Clown teacher Abbey Pleviak. We meet EVERY SECOND TUESDAY at noon Eastern US Time. Each session includes brief, optional, and simple mindfulness and embodiment exercises for nourishing the creative mind-body and trickster tales that provide deep cultural support for creative rebellion rooted in mythology. The remaining half of the session is for sharing creative inspiration.

NOTE: You do not need to be a clown to participate. Nor do you need to know about activism. This group is open to all who wish to bring art and nonviolence together to challenge authoritarianism.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
