## Stop Attacks on Voting Rights

In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to gut the Voting Rights Act, Southern statehouses are resurrecting Jim Crow and erasing Black representation and democracy along with it. Tennessee took the last majority Black district off its map at the same time judges struck down a referendum that gave voters better maps in Virginia. The Trump administration is working overtime to turn the country backwards and they’re attacking Black voters in the South first.
Join us this Saturday as we stand in solidarity with the No Kings coalition, faith leaders, movement organizations, and community members from across the country to protest against attacks on voting rights.
A core principle behind all Indivisible Calvert County MD events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
