The No Kings Map is Live!
Hundreds of nonviolent protests are already planned for No Kings Day on March 28, and more are being added by the hour.
Saturday March 21 12-2pm in front of Alameda City Hall
Come join a sign making party to get ready for the 3rd NO KINGS rally! We’ll turn the space in front of City Hall into an impromptu resistance art studio, as we craft signs, make sidewalk chalk art, sing and dance to music, and just enjoy the company of our neighbors. This event will be in collaboration with the regular Saturday noon protest at the corner of Santa Clara and Oak. Through art made in community, we hope to galvanize Alameda to show up strong for NO KINGS the following week.
If you are able, please bring art supplies to share, e.g. pre-cut salvaged cardboard, poster board, markers, chalk.
Accessible, kid-friendly, non-violent gathering
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
