Signs of Fascism – 28E Pineville

This protest is meant to educate people to recognize that all these atrocities committed by the Trump administration are indicative of fascism. Hitler got his playbook directly from the Jim Crow South. We cannot continue to repeat our racist history. We must stop fascism once and for all. The first step is acknowledging it. Spread the word. None of this is okay:
-Using military on civilians
-Appointing political loyalists
-Punishing free speech
-Disdain for human rights
-Dismantling democratic institutions
-Normalizing political violence
-Replacing science with ideology
-Racial profiling
-Pardoning criminal loyalists
-Using secret police
-Denying due process
-Normalizing corruption
-Controlling education
-Erasing and faking government data
-Labeling minorities as enemies
-Rejecting election results
-Using fear to gain power
-Rewriting history
-Censoring mass media
-Denying reality with constant lies
-THIS IS FASCISM

-We will meet in the parking lot of Mac’s on 28 East in Pineville. We will stretch out along the sidewalk on 28 between Edgewood and Pelican Dr. There are a bunch of churches, restaurants, and fast food joints along this stretch, so we’re hoping it’ll be busy with the post-church and lunch crowd
