Stand Up for Democracy! Stand Up for Peace!
When? Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where? Santa Fe and West Bowles Avenue, near downtown Littleton.
Who? People of courage and commitment who prefer kindness, courage and communication over cruelty, corruption and chaos. Come and stand up for the Constitution, the rule of law, and guardrails to protect our right to vote.
Plan for your comfort: Check the weather and come prepared. Find a space along the sidewalk when you arrive. Bring your phone, water, snacks, sunscreen, a wide brim hat for shade, a folding chair if needed, and a creative sign that speaks for you.
We plan for your safety: Corner Captains and Line Hosts wearing yellow INDIVISIBLE vests are there to support you. Littleton Police and Suburban Fire and Rescue know about our rally and will be nearby to assist if needed.
Bring a sign to share your hopes and thoughts with fellow protesters as well as the supporters honking as they pass us by. Use your sign to make a statement about current events, what you value, or a hoped for future.
At Indivisible Littleton, we believe in the ideal of one nation Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. A healthy democracy doesn’t happen automatically, it only happens when we the people pay attention, stay engaged, and stand up for democratic values.
