What is it:
a cross-pollinating one-day Summit for all of us working in Northern Nevada addressing the poli-crises of our times. Like a mycelium network, organizing and political action here in Northern Nevada is an intersecting system of individuals and communities transforming our world for a liberative future. Using the mycelium metaphor: we will ask what are we decomposing, what and how are we communicating, what are the connections between us, what nutrients are we exchanging and extracting, what types of fungi grow from us, what mushrooms thrive at the heart of the apocalypse? We’re going to lean into the mycelium network that cultivates our capacity to thrive and support the environment within (self-care) and the environment without.
*You’re invited to bring a book (novels, science fiction, poetry, non-fiction, etc) to donate.
Bring a book that has been deeply meaningful, heart-breaking, spoken to your soul, transformed you, moved you in these times. Banned books are welcome here. We are updating our revolutionary-thinking library – which we hope will serve us all.
