Saturday is No Kings Day
The wannabe-king is intent on sabotaging our midterms. This weekend, we turn out by the millions to nonviolently defend our elections, our democracy, and our rights. First in the streets, and then at the polls. Join us.
We are a group of people dedicated to protecting our democracy and encouraging people to get out and vote for BLUE YORK in November.
We will be meeting every Monday from 4:30 to 6:00 at the park n ride at Exit 63 of the Long Island Expressway. We will meet every Monday until November 9, the Monday after the midterm elections. We anticipate a Democratic win nationwide, so we will plan to celebrate Nov 9 to thank the people who voted. We will then have dinner at the nearby Applebees.
We will assess after this date to see if we should continue or take a hiatus until April, unless a crisis arises, ie January 3 with the installation of the new Congress.
