Come together in dialogue with St. Paul Police Chief Axel Henry, Saint Paul Mayor Kaohly Her, and Ramsey County Attorney John Choi
Join us for a Town Hall addressing Community Safety and Election Protection.
This event is an opportunity for our Police and City leaders to hear directly
from community members who were affected by the ICE Metro Surge and
for residents to share their personal experiences.
We want to explore what contributed to our communities feeling unsafe in
the presence of ICE agents, and what City and County leaders might do
differently in future interactions with federal agents who are breaking our
laws.
Through this honest reflection, we can consider how we begin repairing the trust in our leaders that may have been damaged during Metro Surge.
Finally, what does a plan look like going forward where we, the residents of
Saint Paul, partner with the Police Department, the Mayor’s Office, and the
County Attorney’s Office to protect all residents and ensure that we have
free and fair elections?
Join us to share your experiences, ask your questions, and hear from our
leaders and your neighbors about how we want to work together to create a brighter, safer future for all St Paul residents.
