Training for Community Care!
Many in our communities are facing uncertainty due to ongoing immigration enforcement. In moments like these, coming together with care, awareness, and intention can make a meaningful difference. Each of us has a role to play in helping our neighbors feel safer, informed, and supported.
We invite you to join us for an afternoon of learning, connection, and community care. This training will offer practical tools and knowledge to help you support vulnerable individuals and families, while building confidence in how to respond thoughtfully and effectively. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with others who share a commitment to compassion and community well-being.
This training features three interactive workshops led by experienced facilitators:
1. Practices of Inclusion
Develop skills to help create welcoming, inclusive spaces where everyone feels a sense of belonging. This session explores allyship across identities and how to support marginalized communities with awareness and respect.
2. Immigrants Rights
Gain essential information about immigrant rights and constitutional protections. This workshop will help you understand how to share accurate, helpful information so individuals and families can make informed decisions.
3. Protecting Our Community
Explore ways to support safe and responsive school communities. This session offers guidance on how neighbors and families can work together to be prepared and support one another with care in times of uncertainty.
