The Ask: Tell your member of Congress to sign H.R. 8275, and thank them if they already have. The Count: 84 have signed it. Not one of them is a Republican.
The bill – penned by Jamie Raskin – establishes a bipartisan independent body under Section 4 of the 25th Amendment to evaluate a president’s physical or mental fitness.
We’ll provide the office addresses of all DEL-MAR-VA, DC & WV US reps, postcards, and pens. If you can bring some postcard stamps or donate a few dollars to help cover the cost of purchasing them, that would be appreciated, but it’s not required to participate.
