Join Us Tomorrow at 3:00 PM ET!
Every Thursday, Indivisible co-founders Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg host a participatory conversation on the week’s news, the state of our democracy, and our plan to defeat the authoritarian threats we face.
Join us for a Weekend of Public Witness to End ICE Detention at Miami Correctional Facility, part of a coordinated effort with 50+ vigils happening across Indiana.
Right now the State of Indiana is holding around 600 people in ICE detention at Miami Correctional, most with no criminal record, many with US citizen spouses and kids waiting for them at home. Two detainees have died at this facility since February. The state’s contract with DHS runs through 2027, and our goal is simple: we want it ended.
We’re gathering in prayer and solidarity to say families belong together, to call for an end to ICE detention at Miami Correctional, and to make sure Hoosiers know this is happening in our state and that we have the power to stop it.
This vigil is part of the statewide Weekend of Public Witness, held in connection with the campaign to end ICE detention at Miami Correctional Facility. More information is available at https://indianaorganizing.org/projects/end-ice-miami/.
