📬 Stamp Out Hunger 2026 – Volunteers Needed! 🥫
Join us in supporting the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive with the National Association of Letter Carriers.
We’re looking for volunteers for a two-part effort to help make this year a success–please note that you will need access to a car for both days:
🟡 Part 1: Bin Drop-Off Day
Sunday, May 3: 12-2p @ Sherwood Park in GJ
Help us get ready for the big collection week! Volunteers will:
-Pick up donation bins
-Drop them off at 1–2 designated public locations around Grand Junction so community members can easily donate
👉 We’ll have snacks, drinks, and a chance to hang out and meet IGJ members before you head out!
🟢 Part 2: Bin Pick-Up Day
Saturday, May 9
After a week of community donations, we’ll need your help to:
-Pick up your assigned bin(s)
-Deliver them to Bank of Colorado (3rd & Grand)
-Drop-off deadline: by 7:00 PM
Please note that you will need access to a car for both days, and you are committing BOTH Drop-Off and Pick-Up Days.
Every can and box collected goes directly to supporting local food banks and families in need!
