# Join San Diego County Election Protection Squad With Alliance San Diego! 🗳️
Democracy needs a hype squad, and that’s us. Alliance San Diego has generously offered to host a virtual training just for CBFD Indivisible and friends, so we can learn together how to protect our election. It’s part of a statewide effort through We Are California to build San Diego County Election Protection Squads that bring information, joy, and backup to voters this election.
Get trained, get a squad t-shirt and/or hat, and get deployed in pairs to vote centers on Election Day, November 3rd. You’ll learn to spot and report things like voter intimidation, misinformation, or procedural hiccups, with squad leaders and attorneys on call in real time.
**Pro tip:** bring a friend! Train together, then buddy up for November 3rd so every San Diegan you meet has a smooth, trouble-free trip to the polls.
Let’s protect this election, together. 💙
