# WAUK with NELC-Indivisible in the Waukegan Independence Day Parade! #
Waukegan has one of the biggest Independence Day Parades in all of Lake County. It has everything! Horses, dancing, bands, tons of candy, and thousands of friends and neighbors from across Lake County! **You won’t want to miss it!**
And NELC-Indivisible can’t afford to miss this opportunity! We hope to recruit new members while showing our more vulnerable neighbors that we support them.
Many of us have big feelings about this 250th Anniversary of America. Whether you come in joy, in grief, or anything in between, we invite you to join us as we walk the Waukegan Independence Day Parade. We will be centering on our **”No Kings”** message in honor of the day.
We will meet at 11am with the parade stepping off at 12noon. The route walks north on Sheridan from Franklin to Jack Benny Drive, approximately 1.5 miles in length.
