We protest each Thursday, 4:30-5:30 pm, to build “social proof” for our anti-authoritarian/anti-Trump message – to provide community members with the “proof” that taking action and opposing the Trump regime is the right thing to do.
In May, we are protesting Trump regime corruption. Why? We want to help link Americans’ frustration over their growing economic woes to the Trump regime’s greed and grift. Gas prices are nearing $5 a gallon, grocery costs are rising, and healthcare is more and more expensive – all while Trump and his family (the “Mar-a-lago mafia”) have increased their net worth by nearly $6 BILLION since January 2025. Americans won’t tolerate such personal wealth aggrandizement while their personal fortunes suffer. Like in Hungary, when they make the connection between their government’s economic and political corruption to their family’s hardship, our fellow citizens will become outraged like the Hungarians and reject their leader.

– May 7: Along Baynard Blvd. between 18th St. and the Washington St. bridge (near Hanover Presbyterian Church, 1801 Jefferson St.) [Parking: on nearby side streets.]
– May 14 – Downtown Wilmington, near the Wilmington Christiana Hospital, at the intersection of three streets: 11th Street, Delaware Avenue, and Jefferson Street. [Parking: On the street or in a nearby garage (Corporate Plaza Garage – 700 Delaware Ave, enter on 12th St or Delaware Ave or City Center Garage – 208 W 12th St, enter on 11th St.)]
– May 21 – Along Pennsylvania Avenue in front of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1502 W. 13th St. [Park in the lot behind the church.]
– May 28 – On the sidewalk on Rt. 202 in front of First Unitarian Church, 730 Halstead Rd., Wilmington. [Park in the lot along the 202 sidewalk across from the church.]
