  • A conversation with john a. powell

This a local Indivisible event! Register for a powerful community conversation with internationally renowned scholar and civil rights leader john a. powell, Director of the Othering & Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley & UC Berkeley Law Professor.

In a time of democratic fragility, powell invites us to move from moral voice to political force — exploring how faith communities, neighborhood organizations, and civic groups can build the kind of deep, lasting institutional power that shapes democracy from the ground up.

As in the Othering & Belonging Institute we are united here by a common purpose to fostering inclusive, multiracial democracies and building a bigger “we.”

We want to ignite a collective commitment, build stronger relationships, and spark joy in order to fight back against this authoritarian nightmare and build the future we want to live in and that we deserve.

No Entrance Fee – Donations Accepted

*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
