We showed up. And it mattered. Millions of us took to the streets for No Kings on March 28th and made it clear: we don’t do kings; not now, not ever!
But these days of action are not enough. Because the truth is: they’re not stopping. They’re still trying to rig the rules, suppress the vote, and sabotage our elections. So we’re not stopping either.
Ready to keep up the momentum?
Indivisible Elmira Corning is hosting a “What’s Next After No Kings?” local Organizing Meeting in Elmira on Saturday April 11th at 1:00. We will gather local activated people in our community and plan for what’s next. When you register, you will receive the location information.
We will:
* Build power locally: grow sustained organizing in our community
* Protect our neighbors: stand up to ICE abuses and threats
* Escalate and innovate: strengthen nonviolent and lawful actions that refuse business as usual
* Defend our elections: protect the vote and enforce the results
Together, we must keep organizing to grow from a mobilization into a movement.
We’re not done.
We’re just getting started!
This a local Indivisible Corning Elmira event.
*A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
