Special guests in October include candidates for Midland Public School board election – there are four candidates and only 2 seats. This may be the only public forum where voters can hear from multiple school board candidates. (Earlier plans for the meeting included Congresswoman Kristen McDonald Rivet as a speaker, but her schedule has changed and she will not be at the meeting.)
We’ll also share details about our plans for No Kings Vote Early, which is coming up on Oct 17th.
Looking for a community to help you stay sane during Trump 2.0?
Attended our No Kings events and want to get more involved?
In need of ideas for how to help preserve democracy and friends to do it with? Come to a WOMAN meeting!
WOMAN is an Indivisible group. Persons of any gender identity are welcome. (And check out www.indivisible.org to learn more about this great group.)
Our agenda usually includes time for community building as well as information about what’s going on and where we can make a difference. We often have speakers about relevant topics and we hear from elected officials.
Beverages are available to purchase from our MI Element hosts, Tony and Suzanne. Coffee, tea, beer, and bottled sodas available. Anyone is welcome to bring snacks to share.
NOTE: We usually meet on the second Tuesday of each month, but in September we will meet on the third Tuesday. The October meeting will likely return to the second Tuesday.
