Washington, D.C. — Today, Indivisible’s Managing Director Mari Urbina released the following statement on Senator Jacky Rosen’s victory in the Nevada Senate race:
“Once again, Nevada voters delivered. We congratulate Senator Rosen on her re-election, and are celebrating this huge win for her campaign and the countless activists and volunteers who poured their hearts into this race. This election is evidence that Nevadans are unified in the fight to protect reproductive rights, strengthen the middle and working class, and to put an end to the divisive, hateful rhetoric that has tainted our politics for too long.
“Senator Rosen has been on the front lines of this fight throughout her time in the House and Senate. She’s stood strong against MAGA extremism and remained committed to delivering for her people. During her first term in the Senate, she helped write the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that created thousands of jobs for Nevadans, and has fought to lower the prices of prescription drugs and childcare.
“That’s why Indivisible groups in Nevada worked countless hours talking to voters to help her win. Indivisibles in every corner of the state have been knocking doors and mobilizing their communities to help Democrats win big this cycle – from Washoe and Clark counties to rural Nye county. We are confident that Senator Rosen will continue to be a champion for Nevada, and it’s clear that voters agree.”
