TRUMP PLANS TO SABOTAGE THE MIDTERMS. BUT WE’VE GOT A PLAN TO WIN – AND PROTECT THE RESULTS.
Since he took office again, Trump has attempted to sow doubt and distrust in free and democratic elections to lay the groundwork for major interference in the 2026 midterms. He tried to get rid of mail-in ballots and overhaul election administration via executive order, raided the election hub in Fulton County, Georgia, and ordered a wave of mid-decade gerrymandering across the US.
As we get closer to November, Trump’s tactics have intensified. We know more sabotage is coming before, during, and after Election Day, but we’re ready to mobilize to win the midterms and protect the results with our Battlegrounds program.
We’re mounting an aggressive get out the vote campaign and election defense strategy in seven key states that have vital Senate races and are particularly vulnerable to GOP tampering. By organizing on the ground, talking to voters early, and building infrastructure and capacity for massive GOTV efforts, we’ll win these crucial midterm elections – and by training 10,000 volunteers for the Election Defense Corps, we’ll have the tools, resources, and people power to disrupt any GOP attempts to interfere with the results.

In 2025, Alaska gave Trump a helping hand by caving to his unconstitutional demand to hand over confidential voter data to the Department of Justice. The state then later wrongfully purged more than 3,000 voters from the rolls. We have work to do – especially given state officials’ collusion with the regime.
Indivisibles are mobilizing in communities across Alaska to elect Mary Peltola to the US Senate.
Trump himself tried to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia by pressuring the secretary of state to “find” votes that would win him the presidency. We can’t let our guard down or assume he won’t attempt to do the same for his MAGA buddies in the midterms.
We’ll be working hard in Georgia to re-elect Jon Ossoff to the Senate, elect Keisha Lance Bottoms as Governor, and elect Michelle Schreiner (HD-45), Farooq Mughal (HD-105), and David Dillie (HD-161) to the Georgia State House.
In 2024, Trump sued the Des Moines Register and its pollster for publishing a poll with Kamala Harris in the lead, claiming “brazen election interference.” This clear attempt to lay the groundwork to sow doubt about election results is right out of Trump’s playbook – and we need to be prepared for more of the same come November.
Indivisibles will be organizing on the ground to elect Josh Turek to the US Senate and Christina Bohannan (IA-01), Lindsay James (IA-02), and Sarah Trone Garriott (IA-03) to the US House.
In the August primary, Trump ordered the Department of Justice to send poll monitors to Democratic cities – just weeks after he called for a renewed investigation into a debunked case of voter registration fraud in 2020. We need to take action to counter Trump’s attempts to confuse and intimidate voters.
In one of the most-watched battleground states in the nation this fall, Indivisibles will be working hard to elect Abdul El-Sayed (MI-Sen), William McKinney (MI-07), and Christina Hines (MI-10) and re-elect Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08).
Last year, state Republicans took election-stealing for a test run and tried to overturn the results of the 2024 State Supreme Court race. They resorted to every possible tactic to sabotage the results and failed – but we should be prepared to challenge more of their obscure election-denying tactics this year.
We’re ready to mobilize to elect Roy Cooper to the US Senate and Donald Davis (NC-01) and Jamie Ager (NC-11) to the US House.
In June, Trump ordered a raid on the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, a pro-democracy nonprofit that conducts voter registration. The FBI swarmed the office and showed up at the homes of staff, volunteers, and partners. This is intimidation, pure and simple – and we need to be prepared to counter it again in November.
In Ohio, we’re organizing to elect Sherrod Brown to the US Senate, Don Leonard to the US House (OH-15), and re-elect Greg Landsman (OH-01), Marcy Kaptur (OH-09), and Emilia Sykes (OH-13).
Earlier this year, Texas Republicans gerrymandered five new GOP House seats at Trump’s behest. The Texas GOP themselves are notorious for sowing voter suppression, including in April’s Democratic Senate primary – and their willingness to collude with the regime should have us all on high alert and ready to respond to further election interference in November.
We’re mobilizing to elect James Talarico to the US Senate and Bobby Pulido (TX-15), Katy Padilla Stout (TX-23), Johnny Garcia (TX-35) to the US House, and re-elect Vicente Gonzales Jr. (TX-34).
