Expose the Epstein Cover-Up

This month, the Trump administration tried to  shut down the ongoing review  of the Jeffrey Epstein case. No client list. No charges. No further investigation. Just a shrug from the Department of Justice—now led by Trump loyalists—claiming the case is over and there’s nothing to see.

But Americans aren’t buying it. And, for once, neither are many of Trump’s own supporters. Demands for transparency have come from across the political spectrum, but Trump and his enablers in Congress have doubled down on the cover up attempt—Mike Johnson even shut down the House and sent members of Congress home rather than allow them to vote on legislation calling for a release of the Epstein files, abandoning the important work on behalf of Americans that SHOULD be the top priority of Congress.

They thought this scandal would die down, but instead it’s only continued to grow as new details have come to light. Trump tried demanding that his supporters stop talking about it, promised to release some of the files, and even gave Epstein’s criminal collaborator (and Trump’s former friend) Ghislaine Maxwell partial immunity in exchange for her “testimony”, despite her sordid criminal convictions and documented history of lying under oath. Now, it’s up to us to expose the lies, end the cover-up and demand accountability from everyone involved.

    EPSTEIN 101

Jeffrey Epstein was a wealthy financier and convicted sex offender with deep ties to global elites—presidents, billionaires, royals, and media moguls. Epstein and Trump had a decades-long friendship, and in 2002 Trump said this to New York Magazine: “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” Just a few years later, Epstein pleaded guilty to  procuring a person under 18 for prostitution.

In 2019, Epstein was arrested again, this time on federal sex trafficking charges - this time, conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of underage girls. There were also whispered allegations that he not only coordinated the child sex abuse, but used it to blackmail the (wealthy, powerful) abusers, and he died under suspicious circumstances in a New York jail cell before he could be brought to trial.

Epstein’s (alleged) partner in crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, was convicted of sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy and is now serving 20 years in a federal prison, but no other high-profile figures have ever been held accountable.

For years, the public has demanded the truth: Who else was involved? Who enabled it? Who’s being protected? Trump promised during his campaign that, if elected, he would run a transparent administration and throw open the files to high-profile cases. But now that he’s back in power, his administration is trying to shut the door to accountability for good.

BONDI, THE DOJ, AND A FAMILIAR PATTERN

The review of the Epstein case was led by Attorney General Pam Bondi—Trump’s former impeachment defense lawyer and longtime political fixer.

This isn’t the first time Bondi has been accused of protecting Trump. In 2013, as Florida’s Attorney General, she considered launching an investigation into Trump University for fraud. Then a PAC supporting her re-election campaign received a $25,000 “donation” from Trump’s foundation, and shortly after, chose not to move forward with the formal investigation. Trump later paid a fine for making an illegal donation from a nonprofit.

Now, the Department of Justice—which Bondi leads—is claiming there’s no Epstein client list, and never was. No blackmail. Nothing to see, and nothing to release to the public.

But here’s the kicker: Bondi herself told Fox News just months ago that the “client list” was sitting on her desk. And she repeatedly hinted that big revelations were coming. Now they’re saying the list doesn’t exist. Which is it?

Even some of Trump’s most loyal supporters have had enough of the lies and deceit, and want to know the truth about the well-connected pedophile and his connections to the rich and powerful.

The blowback over the Epstein memo is coming from inside the MAGA house:

    • Far-right influencers like Laura Loomer and Robby Starbuck are openly calling out Trump for letting Bondi bury the story.
    • Megyn Kelly and Charlie Kirk’s conference crowd booed the administration’s excuses.
    • Dan Bongino, the FBI’s deputy director, was reportedly so angry about the DOJ’s memo that he skipped work after a heated White House meeting with Bondi.
    • Mike Flynn, Trump’s former National Security Adviser, warned the administration that sweeping Epstein under the rug is a mistake.
    • Rank-and-file MAGA loyalists are swarming social media to call out the hypocrisy, posting videos of burning their red hats in protest.
    • Some Republicans in leadership, including Mike Johnson, are now calling for the release of any documents, while other Members of Congress continue to defend Trump and downplay Epstein’s importance.

And Elon Musk—Trump’s biggest campaign donor—recently shared and then deleted a post alleging that Trump was personally named in the files, and that’s why they hadn’t been released yet.  When Trump himself has to go on social media and plead with his base to “stop wasting time on Epstein” and call any supporters who don’t take his side “weaklings,”  you know they’ve hit a nerve.

    THE PUBLIC ISN’T FOOLED

A new poll from the Washington Post backs it up:

    • Only 16% of Americans support Trump’s handling of the Epstein files
    • 61% believe that the files directly name Trump, and 84% believe that the files contain damaging information about powerful billionaires
    • 86% of Americans support ALL files being released, with only 5% opposed

This isn’t just a scandal—it’s a political vulnerability. And Republicans know it.

    WHY IT MATTERS

This isn’t about ancient history. This is about a sitting president potentially being able to use his power—again—to protect himself and his elite friends from justice. And it’s about the sexual abuse and trafficking of underage girls being treated like an unimportant side note.

Trump appointed a loyalist who has already helped him escape accountability once to head the Department of Justice. Now, she’s in a position to shut down a case that could potentially implicate him again. She made public promises of revelations, then quietly reversed course and now claims they never existed in the first place. And the administration is hoping the country will just move on.

But the story isn’t going away. Because we’re not letting it.

This is about whether elites get to live above the law—and whether elected officials will be allowed to continue enabling it. We have a clear demand: Stop the lies. Release the files. Investigate the cover-up. Hold the powerful accountable.

Congress can’t dodge this forever. It's time to force every Member to choose: Are they on the side of justice—or part of a cover-up?

We’re putting every Member of Congress on the spot. Do they support releasing the Epstein files, or are they fine with a known Trump loyalist burying the truth?

Use our script to demand your Republican representative and/or senator publicly support:

    • Releasing all Epstein-related documents and flight logs
    • Investigating Pam Bondi’s DOJ review and contradictions
    • Accountability for all implicated public officials

Only 16% of Americans support Trump’s handling of the files and 86% support a full release, but Trump and his enablers in Congress have doubled down on the cover-up attempt. And they’re getting a major assist from Conservative media outlets, who are refusing to cover the story despite the massive uproar.

It’s vital that we reach people where they are, so we’re asking you to take the message where more folks will hear it: TALK RADIO. Whether it’s your local NPR station’s political show, open mic drive time on your favorite music station, or a local conservative online outlet, talk radio is a powerful way for real voices to reach new audiences. Expose the Epstein Files Town Hall & District Office Question Guide

Trump’s DOJ just tried to shut the door on the Epstein investigation. They claimed there’s no client list, no blackmail, no further questions to ask—and they put Pam Bondi, Trump’s former impeachment lawyer, in charge of the review. Bondi herself once said the client list was “on her desk.” Now she says it never existed.

Your Members of Congress shouldn’t get to stay silent. And they definitely shouldn’t get a pass in front of constituents.

Use the following questions at town halls, meet-and-greets, or in visits to your Member of Congress’s district office:

    1. “Attorney General Pam Bondi said earlier this year that the Epstein client list was ‘on her desk.’ Now she says it doesn’t exist. Do you believe the public is being told the truth—and will you call for a full release of the Epstein files?”
    2. “Do you support a Congressional investigation into how the DOJ review of the Epstein case was handled—especially given Pam Bondi’s ties to Trump and her prior contradictory statements?”
    3. “Do you believe it’s appropriate for Donald Trump to appoint his own impeachment lawyer to lead an investigation into a case he may be personally tied to?”
    4. “More than 70% of Americans say law enforcement is hiding the truth about the Epstein case. Why haven’t you spoken up?”
    5. “If there’s truly nothing to hide, then why not release everything—flight logs, names, communications? Will you support full public transparency on the Epstein files?”
    6. “Many Americans—across party lines—believe powerful people are being protected in the Epstein case. What will you do to restore trust in the justice system?”

    • State your name and that you're a constituent. “Hi, I’m [Your Name], I live in [City], and I’m in your district.”
    • Be calm, clear, and persistent. Don’t let them dodge—repeat or reframe your question if needed.
    • Record the exchange if possible and legal to do so. Post it on social and tag your MoC, local press, and national accounts. Use #ReleaseTheList and #EpsteinCoverUp.
    • Follow up. After the event, email their office to reiterate your question and demand a written statement.

Not every Member of Congress holds open town halls—or you may not be able to attend. You still have options:

    • Call their office and ask one of the questions from the guide. Staff will note it, especially if multiple constituents are asking the same thing.
    • Email the question with a personal intro and a demand for a response. Use our [email template] and drop your question into the message body.
    • Tag them on social media. Post your question with a public tag and use relevant hashtags like #EpsteinCoverUp and #ReleaseTheList. If they respond, quote-tweet and amplify. If they don’t, highlight their silence.
    • Submit your question to local reporters who cover your Member of Congress. Many journalists rely on tips from constituents to press officials for answers.

Write a Letter to the Editor. Ask your MoC the question in print where their staff and local media will see it—and where other constituents will join the pressure.

    EXTRA-CREDIT: MAIL THE COVER-UP

During the Trumpcare fight in 2017, people mailed potatoes to senators to protest the repeal of healthcare protections. Why? Because it was funny, weird, and impossible to ignore.

    Now, it's our turn.

The Epstein scandal is being swept under the rug—and Trump’s DOJ literally says there’s “no client list” while his former impeachment lawyer Pam Bondi flips her story and tries to shut the case down forever.

If you’d like to send your Republican MoCs some mail (or drop it off in person at an unannounced district office visit), send them something to show just how empty you find their claims: 🗂️ AN EMPTY FOLDER.

Message: “Just like Pam Bondi’s Epstein file—totally empty.” Mail a manila folder labeled “Epstein Client List” with nothing inside. Include a note like: “The DOJ says this doesn’t exist. Do you believe them?” or “Here’s what [REP NAME] has done about the Epstein cover-up: absolutely nothing.”

You can also include other pictures or imagery, like a plane with the message: “Still waiting for the Epstein flight log passengers.” You could even send a cheap toy airplane or paper plane marked “Flight Logs” with a tag: “Who was on the plane, [REP NAME]? Why don’t you want us to know?”

*Important note: be sure to follow all federal, state, and local regulations and don’t send anything not allowed by law. Items that prohibited by postal regulations: Ammunition, explosives, and fireworks; Firearms; Illegal substances; Certain hazardous materials, including liquid mercury and materials that can catch fire or explode easily; Live animals and other perishables; Liquids and powders; Alcohol; Cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.

DON’T FORGET TO MAKE IT SOCIAL

    • Post a photo or video of your package and tag your MoC before sending, then mail to their district office.
    • Use hashtags: #EpsteinCoverUp and #ReleaseTheList
    • Bonus points if you deliver it in person and record it.

This tactic works because it’s weird enough to break through. Reporters will cover it. Staffers will talk about it. And it reminds the public: this isn’t just dark and horrifying—it’s also ridiculous, and they think we’ll forget.

The Epstein case was never just about one man—it’s about a system that protects the powerful at the expense of truth, justice, and survivors. Now, that system is working overtime to close the book. But we’re not done reading. We’re not done asking questions. And we’re sure as hell not done fighting.

This isn’t over—unless we let it be.
