Washington, DC—Tonight, the Indivisible Project’s National Political Director Maria Urbina released the following statement:
“We are happy to congratulate David Holden on his victory in Florida’s 19th District. He earned the support of Indivisibles in the district with his strong progressive platform and commitment to his community. He is ready to take on Rep. Rooney in November. Candidates like David Holden are changing what is politically possible in districts across the country. We’re with David from now through November.”
“David Holden is one of the 51 candidates that the Indivisible Project has endorsed at the national level. To earn Indivisible’s national endorsement, a candidate must clear a tough three-stage process that requires buy-in from local Indivisible group members at multiple points. A candidate cannot be endorsed without a strong platform and the enthusiastic support of informed, energized voters across their district.”
