Washington, DC—Tonight, the Indivisible Project’s national political director Maria Urbina released the following statement:
“We are happy to congratulate Paul Walker on his victory in Kentucky’s First District. He earned the support of Indivisibles in the district with his strong progressive platform and deep local roots. He is ready to take on Rep. Comer in November.”
“Candidates like Paul Walker are changing what is politically possible in districts across the country. We’re with Paul from now through November.”
Paul Walker is one of the 15 candidates that the Indivisible Project has endorsed at the national level. To earn Indivisible’s national endorsement, a candidate must clear a tough three-stage process that requires buy-in from local Indivisible group members at multiple points. A candidate cannot be endorsed without a strong platform and the enthusiastic support of informed, energized voters across their district.
