The American people do not want to enter Netanyahu’s war with Iran. American involvement would not only put our troops into harm's way, but risk escalating an already volatile situation into all-out regional conflict. Unfortunately, Trump is engaging in wildly dangerous provocations in the press and on social media. We know we cannot trust this would-be authoritarian to diplomatically deescalate this conflict and save lives.

Fortunately, there’s something we can do about it. Our Constitution is clear: only Congress has the power to declare war. Yet, administrations too often bypass this fundamental check, plunging us into conflicts that cost countless lives, drain our resources, and destabilize entire regions. We cannot allow this to happen again.

As constituents, we have the power to demand peace and accountability. We must send a clear message that we expect our MoCs to uphold their constitutional duty and protect our nation from unnecessary and devastating war.
