Washington, DC — In response to the horrific shooting that took the lives of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim outside the Capital Jewish Museum, Leah Greenberg, Co-Executive director of Indivisible, Issued the following statement:
“Our hearts are with the families of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, and with the American Jewish community, who are once again facing grief, fear, and trauma in a moment already marked by rising antisemitism.
“Political violence has no place in a democracy. We condemn this act unequivocally. Indivisible is committed to peaceful, democratic methods of change and to a future where all people regardless of faith or background are safe and free.
“This is a moment to reject antisemitism and bigotry in all its forms, and to stand in solidarity with all communities who live in fear of violence. Everyone, no matter their background, faith, or identity, deserves to live in safety and dignity. That is a core value we fight for every day at Indivisible, and one we will never compromise.”

ABOUT THE INDIVISIBLE PROJECT
The Indivisible Project (501c4) is a social movement non-profit driven by a vision of a real democracy - of, by, and for the people. Indivisible began in 2016 as a viral guide to resisting Trump’s agenda. Today, the Indivisible movement is a network of thousands of local groups and millions of activists across every state. The Indivisible Project drives campaigns for bold progressive policies, lobbies Congress, and equips activists with tools to build lasting progressive power, everywhere. Together, we fight to defeat the rightwing takeover of American government and build an inclusive democracy.
