Susan Crawford supports RESTORING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING RIGHTS: In 2011, Susan represented public school teachers in a lawsuit to overturn Act 10. Susan Crawford supports DEFENDING ABORTION RIGHTS. As an attorney, Susan represented Planned Parenthood doctors when the government tried to make it harder for them to provide care. Susan Crawford supports PROTECTING VOTERS & FAIR MAPS Susan will enforce voting maps that meet the requirements of the Constitution.


We’re proud to endorse Judge Susan Crawford for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Susan is a Wisconsin-raised jurist who has dedicated her life to putting the people of Wisconsin first. After earning her JD at the University of Iowa College of Law, she worked as an Assistant Attorney General with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. She was then added to Governor Jim Doyle’s team as chief legal counsel and eventually went on to run for and win election to the Dane County Circuit Court. As a private attorney, Crawford represented public school educators in a lawsuit to overturn Act 10 and restore collective bargaining rights to all public employees. She is a lifelong advocate for abortion rights and represented Planned Parenthood in a case to defend access to reproductive healthcare in Wisconsin. 

Susan will play an essential part in checking the power of Republicans in the legislature and safeguarding the fundamental rights and freedoms afforded to every Wisconsinite through their Constitution. Let’s help make her the next Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
