Expanding the Court
The conservative justices on the Supreme Court were chosen by right-wing dark money groups to attack our constitutional rights, expand corporate power, and weaken anti-discrimination laws, voting rights, workers’ rights, reproductive rights, and more. And so far, they’ve been horrifyingly successful.
The only way to save our constitutional and civil rights is to expand the Supreme Court by passing the Judiciary Act of 2023. We know it may seem radical to suggest a major structural change to one of our democracy’s most critical institutions. But that institution, the Supreme Court, has already been irreparably broken by special interests and partisans in black robes.
We’re working to build long-term support for the Judiciary Act and this new vision for the Supreme Court, and are expanding our focus to these following Members of Congress (MoC):
Rep. Castro (TX-20)
Rep. Courtney (CT-02)
Rep. Crow (CO-06)
Rep. Doggett (TX- 37)
Rep. Eshoo (CA-16)
Rep. Evans (PA-03)
Rep. Higgins (NY-26)
Rep. Jacobs (CA-51)
Rep. Jeffries (NY-08)
Rep. Leger-Fernandez (NM-03)
Rep. Neguse (CO-02)
Rep. Quigley (IL-05)
Rep. Ross (NC-02)
Rep. Sarbanes (MD-03)
Rep. Scanlon (PA-05)
Rep. Schneider (IL-10)
Rep. Scott (VA-03)
Rep. Sherman (CA-32)
Rep. Smith (WA-09)
Rep. Trahan (MA-03)
Rep. Trone (MD-06)
If your MoC is listed here, you can push them to act now and cosponsor the Judiciary Act to unrig our courts before it’s too late.
