George Whitesides has lived in the Antelope Valley and is aware of the need for good middle class jobs that don't require us to drive hours away to Los Angeles. He's focused on improving the quality of life for the people of the AV and, before he kicked off his campaign, he talked to local activists to talk to us about our concerns.

  What makes East Valley Indivisibles excited about Nithya Raman? We are excited about Nithya Raman because she has followed through with her campaign promises. She ran on a promise of compassionately and directly addressing the homelessness crisis facing our city. She and her office have housed over 500 people in our district, helping to clear 10 homeless encampments by getting those people housing, not just by moving them around. In a year when most of the city saw a rise in the unhoused, our district did not.
