Indivisible on the Russian Invasion of Ukraine

Russia's actions are a series of horrific, violent aggressions led by Putin and his oligarchs. The terrible human cost of this escalating conflict is a direct result of their aggression. Our hearts are with the people of Ukraine.

Indivisible to Senate Republicans Using Racist Dogwhistles: Fuck Off

President Biden’s nominee hasn’t even been announced yet and Republicans are already tripping over themselves to say the most racist thing they can think of about her. Republicans in the Senate only know how to do three things: eat hot chip, be racist, and lie.

The Indivisible Project’s Statement on the Retirement of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer

We thank Justice Breyer for his nearly 30 years of service on the United States Supreme Court. Over the course of his career, Justice Breyer authored opinions in decisions that upheld women's reproductive rights and criticized the continued use of the death penalty. We are also thankful for his judgement in his decision to step down at a time when President Biden can preserve the current balance of the court, rather than risking a vacancy under a Republican majority, which no doubt would have replaced him with someone at least as ideologically unhinged as Amy Coney Barrett or Brett Kavanaugh.

Indivisible Adds Senator Mark Kelly to “Give No Ground” Incumbent Protection Program

Senator Mark Kelly’s addition to Indivisible’s “Give No Ground” program comes just after he announced his support of a rules change in order to pass voting rights in the Senate, and one day after Indivisible’s flash poll of Arizonans that showed 94% of Indivisibles in Arizona support finding a Democratic primary challenger to Senator Sinema in 2024 if she does not join Senator Kelly in his support of changing the rules to pass voting rights.

Indivisible’s Statement on the Senate’s Failure to Pass Federal Voting Rights Legislation

While Republicans across the country are engaging in some of the most brazen attacks on our democracy and our right to vote, two Democrats – Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin – joined Mitch McConnell in blocking what would have been the most consequential suite of democracy reforms since the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. As a result of Sinema and Manchin’s betrayal, the likelihood of constitutional crises, democratic breakdowns, and rightwing political violence are higher today than it was yesterday. That is their legacy now.
