Distributed Fundraising: Spring 2024 Matching Campaign

The Details

From April 1st through May 31st, all of the funds your group raises through the distributed fundraising program will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to a maximum of $500 per group!

• If your group is already a part of the distributed fundraising program, there are no extra steps to participate in the matching campaign - just raise funds between April 1st through May 31st, and they’ll be matched!
• If your group is not already a part of the distributed fundraising program, there is no deadline to sign up. But the sooner you do, the more funds you can raise with the match! Select one person from your group to be the treasurer and have them fill out the application here. We’ll get in touch soon to complete your setup. 

Fundraising

The matching challenge was created with community building in mind: 
Asking your group’s members or followers to put their support into action with a donation is a powerful way to increase involvement in your work. 
It’s a great opportunity to build up new support among folks who prefer to be involved behind the scenes by donating. 
Plus, donors are much more likely to give when they know that their donation will go twice as far (as you likely know if you’ve participated in past matching campaigns)!

Every donation counts and no amount is too small, especially if it means engaging with a new supporter. It’s completely up to you and your group how or if you fundraise toward the matching campaign, but we encourage you to think about how you could use this matching campaign as an opportunity to seek new supporters and increase your current supporters’ involvement.

Deposit

The match for funds raised in April will be deposited by May 8th. The match for funds raised in May (if you did not already raise the maximum amount in April) will be deposited by June 7th.
